begins along the Mediterranean shores

Working in a wooden furniture workshop, the day began with sweat and sawdust and ended with sea salt and waves. Surfboards were being fixed and replaced far too often and we felt an urge for something better. Our search after a long lasting surfboard led us back to the workshop.

We tried different structures, building methods and coating materials, seeking a lightweight, high performance surfboard with less environmental footprint and hazardous materials.

Moving from the warm Middle East to drizzled London, we sourced local materials and continued our never ending journey towards the 'perfect' surfboard.

We are currently working with western red cedar and natural coatings (lanolin, linseed oil and beeswax) and based at the Blackhorse Workshop
